This is my personal page. My "professional" page is at http://thegraygeek.com. This simple website serves several purposes.

• First, I am an IT consultant. This site provides some information about my practice and my skills and experience.

• Second, this is a learning tool/testbed. I build websites for clients. Rebuilding this one from time to time helps me keep current, try new techniques etc.

• Third, I think that consultants should show some skill in areas where they profess to be able to provide assistance. "Showing" is more important than talking.

• Fourth, those who might want to hire me may assume my own website is an example of my work, rather than simply a test bed.

The content available without logging in is limited to information about my consulting practice, including my cv. There is a lot more content here related to some of my interests like flying; as well as various toys and diversions. If you are interested in seeing what is behind the curtain, email me.

One of the things I do is Information Security. I have some controls in place to prevent unauthorized access which should withstand ordinary attacks. If you are able to penetrate them, I'll pay for information on how you did so.
